The main function of the urinary system in the body is to collect and remove waste products through the urine. Regular hydration is essential for kidney health, and it is good practice to drink 30 ml of fluid for every kilogram of body weight, preferably 2 litres per day. Symptoms of urinary malfunction are frequent small amounts of urine, accompanied by pain and burning, change in urine colour, swelling and even pain in the loins.
